ECIA Sponsored Competitive Youth Program

ECIA Young Bloods Is a youth archery team, sponsored by ECIA and competing in the Scholastic 3D Association (S3DA.net). Dan Wagoner and Earl Martin are our certified S3DA coaches. Youth, ages 8-18, are able to participate. Our coaches provide instruction that help our youth take the next step from, introduction to archery, to progressive archery skills development. An additional benefit includes, opportunities to qualify for college scholarships.

SD3A is not associated with school archery programs, and there are multiple classes of bows that are used, so all are welcome! Children must have their own equipment and families are responsible for registration fees and travel.

All practices are located at the ECIA outdoor range. We are looking to add more youth to this club team!

Youth Archery Programs

Classes

ECIA Club Member, Earl Martin, hosts youth classes to teach archery etiquette and archery technique.

Our 2024 class session was held:

Sundays, February 4th-March 17th from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Hunter's Haven.

Check back to see when our next youth class will be held!

Classes are open to youth ages 8-16 and do require sign up.

Here at ECIA, we believe that the youth are our future.

That is why, youth and families are welcome at all of our club events! Youth 17 and under always shoot for free at our monthly 3D shoots.

We celebrate our future generation once a year with a designate youth shoot. 3D animal targets are set up at varying distances, adult club members assist in education if needed, and a hotdog lunch is provided.

The entire event, including lunch, is free for the youth!

Adult supervision is required.
